MINNIE LOU BLANKS was born on April 7, 1940 to the late Ethel and Paul Johnson. She was called home on December 7, 2013. She was married to the late Melvin T. Blanks Sr. and had three children from that union, April, Melvin J r. and Elizabeth. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Later she went on to further her education at the Community College, while working full-time at Bethlehem Steel, and raising three children as a widow. She loved to party in her earlier years. She was a friendly, nice and caring person. If you ever met her, you were sure to get a good laugh. She leaves to mourn: her three children, April, Melvin Jr. and Elizabeth; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Lakeysha and LaOuesha; great-granddaughter, Mieysha; a special aunt, Beatrice; a favorite cousin, John Lee; nephews, Timothy and Curtis; a host of cousins, other family members and friends, including Rachel and Mary.
