Minnie E. Green Penny to most, daughter of the late John and Minnie Mackell Chase, was born on October 11, 1921 in Calvert County, Maryland. She departed this life on September 28, 2006, after meeting GOD's qualifations to br called home. She completed high school in Calvert County, Maryland. Penny held various jobs as a teacher's aide and at the Social Security Administration,retiring in the early 1980's. She married the late George Green and out of this union five children were born, George deceased, Wugene, Anthonty deceased, Grace and Charles. Affectionately known as Penny, her friends also referred to her as ''Ma Baker'', Pia'', ''Mom Penny,'' ''Mommyo'' and ''Grandma.'' She leaves to mourn; her daughter Grace; and two sons, Eugene and Charles; ten grandchildren, Tarsha, Darren, Toni, Monique, Darvin, Denise, Charles, Dion, Anthony and Christopher; brother, Roy Chase; devoted niece, Ethel Chase; twelve great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kay Green. She also leaves to mourn, daughter-in-love, Elaine Green; Bernard Lee, Willie Green and a host of other relatives and friends.
