Miguel Hines, also affectionately known as 'Gil' and 'Cutty', son of the late Samuel and Frances Hines, was born on August 27, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on August 19, 2015 after a short illness surrounded by loved ones. He received his high school diploma from Carver Vocational High School in Baltimore. He was a member of the U.S. Armed Services and worked at the Fitch Company for many years, where he retired from in 2007. He married Esther White on June 24, 1978. Gil was an avid sports fan and really loved his Baltimore Orioles. He enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, watching game shows, and spending time withfamily and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Esther Hines; one daughter, Lucky Jones; three sons, Miguel Hines, Jr., Kelvin Hines, and Anthony Harris; six granddaughters, Tanika, Shardaye, Autumn, Dierra, Raykel, and Karron- da; two grandsons, Kelvin, Jr. and K'Ron; three great-grandchildren, Marceau, Justice, and Kaila; two sisters, who preceded him in death, Flora Smith and Gloria Hines-Myers; three brothers-in-law; five sisters- in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
