Proceeding her in death were her siblings, Eula Murray, Fannie Mae Wooten, Thesia Johnson, Elijah McKenzie, Howell McKenzie and Zadie Morrison. She began her spiritual journey at an early age at Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Maryland and continued her walk by faith at the True Foundation Apostolic Faith Church under the Leadership of the late Bishop Verlene Doughty. She was a committed member on the Usher Board and Choir Ministry. One thing for sure, if you knew "Sister" you knew, she loved singing around the house and always giving praise to the Lord. One of her favorite songs was Shirley Caesar "No Charge" which says it all. She received limited education but knew the Word of God like the back of her hand and made sure her children were planted with the seed of the Holy Spirit. She was a feisty little woman who was known for her sharp hats and shoes. Stepping out with class. Her deepest passion was spending time with her family and friends. She loved getting everyone together for a great meal and conversation. In 1946, she met and married the late James Way and from the union came six children. In the year of 1973, she met and married the late Lester S. Cole, from that union came five children. She was employed with Provident Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for ten years and then later employed with Anne Arundel County Board of Education where she received an award for Appreciation in giving her time, energy and commitment to the student, staff and community served by the Anne Arundel County Public Schools which she retired in December 1997. She leaves to cherish: nine children, Ernestine Way, James Way (deceased) known as Country, Charles Way, Zachariah Way, David Way, Mirry Ann Way, Lisa Cole, Louise, Betty, Mary (deceased) and Pat; 3 daughters-in-law, Phyllis Way, Christine Way and Delores Way; grandchildren LaTronja (Tonya) Way, Aleta Way, Cory Way, Damond Way, Tony Luster, Gregory Brooks, Takeisha Way, Eboni Gee, Erica Way, Desmond Williams, Charles P.
