Monroe Wright, son of the late Monroe and Doris Wright, was born on November 18, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 9, 2016

He Received his high school diploma in 1967. He earned a degree in Dentistry and a diploma from Piedmont Technical College in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Systems.

He enlisted in the U.S Army in February of19§9 and saw combat in the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He Married the former Laverne Jones, and from this union 3 children were born: Tammara Wrighr, Dionne Wright -jones, and Desmond Wright, a son in Law Kevin, a sister in Law Theresa Wright; six grand- kids, Nicole, Amber Darius, Darien .Kevin, Kaylin; and 3 great grand- kids, Avion, Braylen , and Bailey. He also leaves behind an aunt Be- atrice vValker, 2 brothers, Dorian & Robert 'Vright, 5 sisters, Florence, 'Villa, Beatrice, Karen, & Denice. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Monroe Wright was proud to be a member of his Quaker Family, which will never forget the kind, thoughtful, generous, and patient man who worshipped with them. Quakers strives to "walk cheerfully over the world, answering that of God in everyone." He embodied this goal, no situation could keep him down. Each of us has a light within, and his shined brightly. He made numerous Friends wherever he went and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
