Montez Isaiah Parker, son of Sherease Bevans and Gus Parker was born February 2, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. He met the eyes of Jesus on May 7,2015, Montez departed this life peacefully in the arms of his mother due to a lengthy illness. Montez attended Mount Washington Pediatrics Hospital where he was loved and cared for by all the nurses as if he were their own. Montez was the answer to his family's prayers and they waited for his birth with joyful expectations. During his visit on earth, he brought joy and happiness to everyone he met. His illness made him frail yet he possessed strength, perseverance and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challengeses. His life may have been short to many but those who met him knew and understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Montez enjoyed toys that lit up and played music, Elmo ABC rap and being held close by his mom and close relatives. He knew he was loved by all who met him and will greatly be missed. Montez is greeted in heaven by great grandfather, Thomas Ricks; grandmother Evon Ricks; aunt, Sharon Ricks; uncle, Tyrone Ricks and cousin Myesha Ricks.
