IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Monyette
Edwards
July 11, 1968 – December 13, 2020
Monyette Michelle Edwards, was born on July 11, 1968 to Jeannette Storrs and the late James Edwards Sr. She transitioned from this life on Sunday, December 13, 2020 after battling heart conditions. Monyette attended America Career Institute where she received her High School Diploma and a trade in Medical billing and Coding. After receiving her high school diploma and her trade accreditation, she gained employment at Bayview Medical Center. She continued her education at Baltimore City Community College and Independent University in pursuit of her Associate's degree to become a Medical Assistant.
In Addition, Monyette was kind, loving, caring and compassionate. She was very gifted in assisting those who were in need. Her home was a safe haven for family, friends and those who were experiencing homelessness. She was a great listener; a friend to the friendless and a mother to the motherless! Monyette made numerous friends and welcomed them into her family.
Further, Monyette and her youngest sister had long conversations about God. She would always ask for prayer when she wasn't feeling well or when she was having surgery. Monyette attended "World Kingdom Fresh Fire Ministries' (now 'New Covenant Kingdom Ministries') where she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Monyette was preceded in death by her Father, James Edwards Sr. and son, Maurice Pate. Monyette leaves to mourn: her mother, Jeannette Storrs, three children, and a son in-law; Crystal & Damon Gray (son-in-law), Donnette Charles, Vernon Branch, eleven grandchildren; Derrick, Dontray, Na'yonna, Christopher, Nevaeh, Gabriel, Kaniya, Deontae, Kaiden, Damon Jr. & Lauren, great-grandson; Jaylen, three sisters; Jyllene Wilson, Ghajiidah Deshields, Yolanda Murray, five brothers; Cornelius Frank, Edward Murray Jr., Michael Murray, James Edwards Jr. & Leroy Murray, companion; Dennis Duncan & best friend; Gertrude McCreay, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other LOVED relatives and friends.
