Obituary

Morris Delaney Brown, son of the late Dumas D. Brown and Pauline Hall Brown, was born on October 29, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 21, 2012 after a short illness. Morris, better known as "Tony" to family and friends, was educated in the Baltimore City Public School system. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and World War II. After serving in the Navy, Morris worked at Sparrows Point Plant for over 30 years. During his retirement, Morris held several part time jobs at TESS Technologies and Chimes DC, Inc. In May 1963, Morris married Barbara Henderson and from that union came three beautiful children, Gayee, Monique and Cameron Brown. In 1985, Morris married his second wife, Mary Boucher, and from that union came one beautiful daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Kate Brown. Morris loved sports, especially baseball and football and loved to fish with his buddy Melvin Simpkins. In his quiet time, he enjoyed reading many books. He loved to sing and would call you on your birthday and sing "Happy birthday". He also loved the show "Sanford and Son." He thought he was a gourmet chef, he was close. He also loved animals, and also enjoyed playing cards and going to the casinos. Morris was also enjoyed a great storyteller. Tony and Larraine's romance began on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, 2008 at her home. Shortyly after, they started dating and a beautiful relationship envolved. On October 29, 2011 his 75th birthday, Morris married Larraine "Rainey" Lyles. They were inseparable and loved to go to the casinos to play the slot machines and watch Ravens football games together. They enjoyed special times together on cruises and being with family and friends. Morris leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Larraine Brown, three daughters, Gayee Brown, Monique VanHyning and Rebecca "Becky" Brown, one son Cameron Brown, one stepsoin James E. Lyles, Jr., six grandchildren, two brothers Bob Carrie Brown, Ralph Lori Chambers, three sisters, Ruth Louis Price, Jane White and Natalie Chambers Bailey, two sisters-in-law, a. Cassaundra Charles Brown and Vanessa Jenkins, two brothers-in-law, Joseph Cutchin and William Cutchin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
