Mozella Craig, was born on 28 Febuary 28, 1925 in Labanon, Pennsylvania to the late Sadie and Edward Brown. She was called home in the morning on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 2:05 a.m. from a sudden illness. She had two brothers and one sister. She married Charles Craig in 1943, and from this union six children were born. Mozella Craig received her education in the Baltimore City school system. She graduated from Douglass Senior High School and from Coppin State College in 1984 at the age of fifty-three, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. Mozella worked for the Baltimore City Public School system as a teacher's aide. She was a member of the NAACP, The Model Cities Agency and Treasure of the Commuity Action Agency which helped send many community children toCamp Concern and provide summer jobs. Mozella joined Gethsemane Baptist Church in 1968 and reunited in 1980. while at Gethsemane she was a member of the Voice Choir, Senior Choir, Pastor's Aide and Treasurer of the Sunday School. She leaves to cherish her memory; four children Norman and Edward preceded her in death, Nelson, Flody, Wallace and Patricia; eleven grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelly, Edward Jr.,Shepell, Sean, Michael, Rodney Jr., Shannon, Seanique, Tamieka and Floyd; twenty greatgrandchildren, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law; one Goddaughter, Bernadette Tanzymore; two best friends, Grace Mercer and Delores Thomas; a host of niecess and nephews, other relatives and friends; and her church family at Gethsemane.
