IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Murture
Bradford
December 30, 1956 – August 16, 2019
Murture was born to Gladys McLean and Samuel Bradford in Richmond,
Virginia. She was raised in the South by her now deceased grandmother,
Pauline Dockery. She moved to Baltimore when she was 14 with her now
deceased mother.
She attended Pimlico Jr. and Forest Park High School. She enjoyed life
and family. Murture was a hard worker and always working. She retired
from Stevenson University where she worked in the food industry as a
cashier.
She found out she was sick about a year and half ago and was a fighter
ever since. She fought the good fight, but finally it was over; the disease
took over and took its course and she was no longer able to fight. She's
succumbed to the disease and her suffering was over.
She is survived by: her son, James A. Waters Jr.; her sisters, Gladys,
Annie, Elaine and her brother Duke; her grandson Damico Waters; her
aunt Margaret Winfield; uncle, Moses Sturdivant; nieces, Colette, Ashley,
Jasmine; great nieces and nephews, Dean, Lyric, AJ, Arielle, N'yae,
Caitlynn, J ayla; her nephews, Ryan, Brandon Lil Willie; first cousins,
Anita, Thomas, Lillie Beth; second cousins Kim, Kandace and Mike; third
cousins, Niah, Zuquan, LaRyan, Nasia, J.J., Lil Mike; her dear friends,
. Harriet Boles, Janey Brown; Elister Carter; her co-workers also her dear
friend, Rafael Montera.
