Nancy Lee Senior Jones- Young was born on May 6, 1941 in Hartsville, South Carolina, the second child of the late Collins and Ivory Cuffie Senior. The family moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1943 and settled in the Cherry Hill Community. Nancy was raised in a Christian home where she was taught the love and respect of God, family and community. In 1958 Nancy married the late Walter Jones, and married again in December 25, 1981 the late Isaac Young who died April 29, 2009. Nancy's transition from this earthly life to a reward of fuller life was on February 28, 2013 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore following surgery and rehabilitation at Future Care Homewood. Nancy received her education at Baltimore City Public Schools, and after earning her GED, enrolled at the then Provident Hospital Helene Fuld School of Nursing, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Following her LPN, Nancy worked at Provident Hospital, South Baltimore General Hospital now Harbor Hospital and Bon Secours Hospital, as well as various nursing homes in Baltimore. In 2003 she retired when illness prevented her even part-time employment. Nancy lived life to the fullest. She was always vibrant, always smiling and made friends easily wherever she worked and lived. She loved her family neighbors and friends, and provided well for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy leaves to celebrate her life, two sons, Walter and Ronald Jones; two granddaughters, Terrell Jones and Yolanda Savoy, who was with Nancy as she transitioned; one grandson, Marvin Straiten Robin; nine great grandchildren to whom she was affectionately called "My Nana" - Joshua, Justin, Jada, Jezell, Jordan, Jaden Savoy, Ashley Howard, Alaina Jones and Kybriana Wilson; one son-in-law, Randolph Allen; four sisters, Patricia S. Bracey, Carolyn Senior, Gwendolyn Senior, and Judith McGeeney James; one brother, Wiley Perry, Jr.; three Aunts, Agnes Cuffie, Josephine DeLeon and Mabel Weber; one uncle, Heyward T. Cuffie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and best friend & neighbor, Dorothy Richardson. Nancy was also preceded in death by her son Michael Jones and daughter Wanda Allen; Sister Betty J.
