Naomi "CorineKess, daughter of the late George Washington Kess and Irene Brooks Kess departed this life after a short illness on May 29,2015. Carine was born on May 8, 1920 in Anne Arundel County where she was educated in the Public School System. She received Christ as her Savior at an early age at the Halls United Methodist Church. In later years she joined John Wesley. Carine was known as Aunt Carine, Sweetheart Rinie, Aunt Conine and Naomi. Carine was a quiet, sweet and nurturing soul with a beautiful smile. She loved being with family and friends. Her passion was caring for children. She took care of many generations of family but she also took care of children in the neighborhood. She enjoyed watching television (Food Network and TV Land) cooking for her nephews, watching her niece Pat bowl, eating out and her all time favorite just taking a ride in the car and taking in the beautiful scenery. She leaves to mourn her loss; 9 nieces, Patricia A. Henson who was her care giver for 21 years, Rosalie K. Gaither, Margret K. Johnson, Jacquline Kess, Renee K. Munir, Sandra K. Fields, Toni Kess, Tina Kess and Kelly M. Malone; one sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Kess; one nephew, Kevin Kess; 7 great nephews, Walter Henson, Justin Henson, Mark Hill, Michael Hill, Emory Gaither, Lorin Fields and Deavon Jones; 7 great nieces, Danae, Monique, Donyelle, Kia, Jamalha, Nas- siali and Maya; 8 great great nephews, Brendan, Matthew, Justin, Tristian, Tyreeq, Ira, Tirese and Tyrone; 5 great great great nephews, Kelvin, Justin, Jaden, Jonathon and Nylyn and a host of other relatives and friends.
