Obituary

Nashawn Marie (Tates) Bumbrey, daughter of the late Jerome S. Tates
and Louella Ann Roberson King, was born on October 28, 1983 in Baltimore,
Md. After a lengthy illness, she departed from this life on March 6, 2019.

She was the devoted newlywed of Shawn Bumbrey and a foster Mom to
son, Kia Stevenson.

Nashawn attended Robert Coleman Elementary School, Chinquapin
Middle School, and Lake Clifton High School where she received several
awards. She attended Job Corp training in the field of Nursing. After her train-
ing, she worked at McCormick, afterwards working for Staff Management and
with Cover Girl products. She was even able to see Queen Latifah during her
recent visit.

Nashawn made numerous friends while in the hospital and hospice.

She leaves to mourn: her husband Shawn, son Kia, Sisters Maria,

Erica, and Ashley, Brothers Damion Clifton, Jaleel, Marvin and Marty,
Grandmother Roxanne, Grandfathers Billie, Tyrone, God Mother Rita, God Sis-
ter Marva, Mother-in-Law Desiree, Sister-in-Law Theresa, Brother-in-Law Dar-
rell and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

She is preceded in death by her Father Jerome Tates, Mother Louella
Ann Roberson King, Sister LaKeeKee King and Stepfather Anthony King.

You will never be forgotten, for the name of Nashawn, NaNa, Gabby
Gret will forever be on someone's lips.
