Nathan Herman Murphy, was born on November 1, 1937 in
Baltimore, Maryland to the late Roy and Helen Murphy. Bobby
as he was known by depart his life on December 9, 2018
peacefully in his home .

Bobby received his education in the Baltimore City Public School
System. Bobby played basketball in high school and pole vaulting.
He achieved special awards and medals, later he went to Morgan
and joined the basketball team there also. Then after he joined
the military. After coming out the military he met the love of
his life Elaine McDowelle. In later years they joined in holy
matrimony and two sons was born Chucky and Michael
Murphy.

Bobby was a very quiet and laid-back man, always a gentleman
that loved all types of music. He loved to dance, his music and
played all kinds of instruments; he was the life of a party . He
alsoloved his family and enjoyed going out talking and meeting
different people.

Preceding him in death: his parents, Roy and Helen Murphy and
siblings Helen A . Murphy, Jacqueline Taylor and Paterica Rose
Murphy.

Bobby leaves to mourn: two sons, Chucky and Michael Murphy; one
daughter-in-law, Sha Murphy; two grandsons, Michael and Donta Mur-
phy; devoted aunt, Gertie and a host of nieces, nephews,co usins and
friends. He also leaves his extended family, Angela, Ricky and the crew.
