Nathaniel Bowman, son of the late Cleve Bowman and Willie Mae Gibson-Bowman, was born on August 26, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on April 12, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was raised in North Carolina by his grandmother, Haiti Gibson until her passing. He was child six of eight children. Nathaniel returned back to Baltimore to continue his education. He was a "Jack of all trades"-he worked for Yellow-Cab as a cab driver, worked for Suns-Up Construc- tion as a brick layer, scaffle builder as well as other important positions. He retired from Coventry Masonry, Inc. in 2003. He was preceded in death by, (wife) Patricia Bowman, (daughter) Danielle Bowman along with (3) brothers and (1) sister. He leaves to mourn: his son, Elwin Bowman (Tink); (2) brothers, Clarence Bowman and James Bowman; ( 1) sister, Delores Halland; his long time partner, Emma Lockwood, children, Mary, Barbara, Katrina, Valerie his daughters and Johnny, Thomas, Bernard, Kenneth, Joseph and the late David his sons; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
