IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nathaniel Noble,
Jr.
February 14, 1931 – February 18, 2020
Nathaniel Noble Jr. son of the late Nathaniel Noble and the late Ella Noble was born on February 14,
1931. On February 18, 2020 he received his ultimate instructions to depart this life and return to his
Heavenly Father for his divine healing.
Nathaniel was born in Huntington, West Virginia where he attended and graduated from Douglas
High School. While he attended Douglas High School he met his first love and wife the late Barbara
Ann Goard. Nathaniel and Barbara had 3 children the late Nathaniel Noble 3rd, Maryella Denise
Noble and the late Brian Christopher Noble.
Nathaniel was know as Nathan, Pop by his, family and friends.
Nathan joined the army on February 19,1948 at the age of 17. He served in Germany and Korea and
he was discharged on May 27, 1957. He then moved to Baltimore, Maryland. Upon his arrival to
Baltimore he joined the Army Reserves. In 1958 he join the Baltimore Police Department until 1965.
In 1965 Nathan became an employee of Baltimore Mass Transit (MTA) and retired as a chief
supervisor of the buses. In 1991 Nathan retired from the army reserve at the age of 60 ranking at Sgt
1 st Class (E7).
In 1961 he met the late Rushimear Madison and 4 years later they became man and wife.
In 1962 Nathan joined Mount Hebron Baptist Church, in 1964 he became the president of the Male
Senior Usher Board. In 1990 he was ordain as a Deacon and he was also Chairman of the Trustee
Board. He was a 33rd Degree Mason of the Freestate Grand Lodge and Past Deputy Grand Master.
He was a member of the Retired Enlistment Associate, he was also a member of the American Legion
Post 285. Besides all that he mainly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Nathan leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Maryella Denise Noble; granddaughter, Tanishea
Ann Brown; brother, Roan I. Noble; 3 step children, Sarah, Fulton and Noxzain; adopted daughter,
Kendra Miller; two adopted grandchildren, Kaniya and Anthony (Missiey); three adopted great
grandchildren, Damien, Anthony 3rd and Marquise and a host of nieces and nephews.
