Neil Ivan Brown, Jr., the son of Teryl Knox
and the late Neil Brown Sr., was born on
March 17, 1990, in Baltimore, Maryland. God
sent his angels down to escort-him home on
July 19, 2016.

He received his education from Baltimore
City Public Schools. His passion for basket-
ball made him a standout basketball player.
He led teams to several victories and received
many awards for his stellar performance
on the court.

Neil had an infectious sense of humor and
he loved to crack jokes. As a child he was
very inquisitive and highly intelligent. He
would amaze family and friends with his
performances and his above average
knowledge.

Neil had a special bond with his mother;
growing up they were inseparable and you
never saw them apart. He was a proud
father arid his children were the light of his
world. He loved them immensely.

Left to cherish his memories, his loving and
devoted mother, Teryl Knox; his daughter
Ma'Kaylah Smith and her mother, the love
of his life, Shanell Smith: his son Courtlin
Brown and his mother Gina Fields, his
sisters Tamika Knox, Erika Brown, and
Nihya Davis; his stepmother, Melissa
Brown; his grandmother Ledarthy Knox,
and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and
