Neil Ray Jr., beloved Son of Minnie Bell Johnson and the
late William McLean was born on December 5, 1953 in
, North Carolina. He departed this life suddenly on November
7,2018 at home.
Affectionately called Junebug, by his family and friends,
receive his education in Baltimore City Public School. He
graduated and received his diploma in 1969, after graduat-
ing Junebug enlisted in the Military (Army). He served four
years in the military.
To know him is to love him. He was truly a humble and
passionate person with a big heart. Junebug would give so
much of himself to those that he loved and would help
anyone if he could. He really loved his family, not only
would he show you that he loved you, he would say "I love
my family, ya heard me".
Wherever Junebug went, he made a friend and touch the
hearts of many. He was truly loved by all who knew him and
will be sincerely missed.
Neil leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Minnie
Bell Johnson; four brothers, Albert McLean Sr. (Sharon),
Charles McLean Sr. (Darlene), Henry McLean Sr. (Joanne)
and Arvetra Johnson; four sisters, Betty Cherry (Michael),
Bernice Rice (Willard), Teresa Williams (Tomas), Brenda
McLean (James) and a host of nieces, nephews, great-niec-
es, great-nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews,
one special great-niece, his goddaughter Harlym McLean, a
devoted friend, Barbara Ann Graham and two devoted
cousins, Ronnie Frederick and Stevie Townes.
