Nelson Minor was born on July 19th, 1960 to Florine Minor and
the late Arthur Minor. He departed this life on Thursday,
March 29th, 2018 at University of Maryland Medical Center
after a lengthy illness.

He attended Baltimore City Public Schools and was later
employed as a freelance painter.

Nelson had an effervescent personality that drew people to
him. His smile was infectious. Shortly after being in his presence
he usually had you laughing heartily. Even though he had moments
of extreme discomfort during his illness, he managed to maintain
his optimism and sense of humor. He especially loved playing around
with his grand kids and liked hanging out with his brothers and friends.
He lived life to its fullest.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Eugene "Butch"
Minor and Arthur Michael Minor, Jr.

To carry on his legacy and cherish his memory, he leaves three
daughters, Tracie Minor, Shanell Minor and Michelle Johnson;
four grandsons, Jaden Ross, Christopher Stainback Jr., Jibril
Courts and Tony Hendricks III; one grand-daughter, Keyoni Johnson;
three sisters, Paula Dean, Joyce Njoku and Karen Minor; three
brothers, Gregory Minor, Vincent Minor and Paul Minor and a host
of other relatives and friends.
