Life Reflections

"To Everything There Is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven "

Ecclesiastes 3:1

A Time to Be Born

Nicholas Milton Butler, affectionately known as "Nick or Nicky" was born to the late Albert Butler and Corina Butler.  He departed this life on February 15, 2023.

A Time to Grow

Nick was educated in the Baltimore City Public school system. After high school, Nick was employed with the Maryland News Distributing Company, where he was a dedicated and faithful employee for more than forty years until his retirement.

A Time to Love

Nick was married to Joyce Greene - Butler for ten years. Out of this union four wonderful children blossomed Elizabeth Denise Corley, Staccato R. Butler, Tyrock Milton Butler, and Aaron Myron Butler. Nicholas was later remarried to his second wife Ella Malloy- Butler. Within this union four wonderful children blossomed Kyle E. Bowman, Tammie R. Bowman, Jasoncruz' Marvin Butler. Within these two marital unions, a loving blended family flourished.

A Time to Socialize

Nick was a fun loving, adventurous person, his love for driving is what led him to travel from state to state, meeting new people, basking in new scenery, and enjoying good food for he loved to eat.

Nick also enjoyed collecting antique cars, comic books, watching old western TV shows, spending time with friends, family and especially loving all his grandchildren.

Nick loved people, anywhere he went, he always left a lasting impression on others. His infectious smile lit up the room and made a lasting impression on everyone.

Forever Our Grandad

MEASURE OF A PERSON

Not how did he die

But how he lived

Not what did he gain

But What did he give

Not what was his station

But had he a heart

And how did he play

His God given part

Was he ever ready

With a word of good cheer

To bring a smile

To banish a tear

Not what was his church

Nor what was his creed

But had he befriended

Those Really in need

Not what did the sketch

In the newspaper say

But how many were sorry

When he passed away

A Time to Say "Good Buy"
