Nicole Lynn Barnes, daughter of Betty Julius and the late Edward H. Barnes, was born on December 15, 1975 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed from us on March 15, 2009 after a brief illness. "Nicole" aka "Nikki" was educated in the Catholic School system graduating with honors from St. Frances Academy in 1993. Upon graduation, she obtained her CNA/GNA certification to assist those in need. Nikki held several positions in the medical field until she could no longer work. Nikki was very intelligent and did not have a problem with helping out others. She Found enjoyment listening to music and watching movies, especially her favorite "The Color Purple." Nikki had a loved her children, family and friends and will definitely be missed. she leaves to mourn; mother Betty Julius, step-mother Doris Barnes, son Jawaun Lipscombe, daughter Asia Netwkirk, six brothers, three sisters, a fiance Antonio Newkirk, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
