Nikesha Ceora Thompson-Turmon was born on September 27, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland, at Union Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late James Thompson and Joyce Ann Lyles. On May 29, 2026, Nikesha peacefully transitioned from this life.

Nikesha was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Lake Clifton High School. She dedicated her life to caring for others, beginning her career as a CNA/GNA at Stella Maris before finding her professional home at Future Care. Known affectionately as "Kesha," she loved learning, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed thrift shopping, dining out, and relaxing with her favorite television shows. Kesha was admired for her strong spirit, organization, wisdom, and sense of responsibility.

In 1998, Nikesha met Terrell, and their friendship grew into a lasting love. They made their relationship official in 2005 and later married, sharing more than 20 years together filled with love, laughter, family vacations, and cherished memories.
