Norine Harvey, daughter of Samuel and Alvert Corbin, was born on August 22, 1020 in Downing, Virginia. Norine was called home on September 10, 2012 after a short illness. She received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. Norine met the love of her life, Joseph Harvey after completing high school. They were married for sixty=two years, and from this union they had two sons, that preceded her in death, Herbert Corbin and Joseph Harvey. During her working years, Norine was employed by Seaton Institute for twenty - five years and retired from Sinai Hospital after nine years of service as an emergency room technician. Norine was very crafty with her hands; she loved to crochet, sew and write poems. She was a very loving, compassionate and a kind spirited soul who loved to help anyone in need. Norine loved cooking and hosting family gatherings. She was very gifted and lucky; she loved playing the lottery and watching her soap operas. Norine was preceded in death by her two sisters, Sadie Ewaver and Lavania Wallace. Norine leaves to cherish her memory;l her best friend and love of her life, Joseph Harvey; two sisters, Laustine Coles and Ada Smith; two brothers, Robert Alona and William Aletha Lomax; eleven grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relives and friends.
