Notra Johnson, beloved daughter, sister and mother, was born on No-

vember 14, 1936 in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. She departed this

life on April 19, 2019 at the Future Care Cherrywood Nursing Home in

Reisterstown, Maryland.

She received her education In the North Carolina Public Schools

System.

She later married and moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she raised

two daughters and one son.

She gained employment as a seamstress, working for London Fog. She

then moved on to work for Allied Signal, now Raytheon Corporation, a

technology company, for 19 years before retiring.

Notra lived most of her life in Randallstown, Maryland. Her neighbors

always complimented her on her kindness to them and her willingness

to lend to them a helping hand.

She loved sewing and decorating the places where she lived. She also

loved vacationing and traveled to several places. Among her favorites

were her trips to New York, Nebraska, Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii,

Montreal and Toronto, Canada.

She leaves to mourn: her sister, Beniell Umphrey; her children, Belinda

Webster, Anthony Johnson, and Stephanie Hunter; her grandsons, An-

dre Johnson, Michael Butler, and Derrick Hunter. She also leaves

behind eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other

relatives, and many close friends.
