Odell Willis,
Jr.
March 24, 1952 – May 15, 2019
Odell Willis Jr., son of the late Etta Louise Reaves and Odell Willis
Senior was born on March 24, 1952 in Saint Paul, North Carolina. He
departed this life after battling a lengthy illness on Wednesday morning
May 15,2019.
Odell received his education in the Baltimore City Schools.
On June 10, 1990 Odell united in holy matrimony to Veronica. He later
became employed by Citywide School Bus Company until he became ill.
Odell was a loving, caring, and kind-hearted person. Odell was a blessing
to have, his most memorable trait was his sense of humor. Some of his
favorite sayings was, jive turkey, homeboy, and yeah boyee!; his favorite
food was spaghetti and meatballs, one of many of his favorite hobbies
was playing the tambourine, he would play it for hours. He also liked
spending time with his bestie, his dog King.
Odell will be truly missed. His acts of kindness and humor will be greatly
remembered by all who loved and knew him.
Preceding Odell in death: his mother, Etta Louise Reaves; father, Odell
Willis Senior and sister, Lillie Mae Ellison.
Odell leaves to cherish: love of his life Veronica Denise Willis; children,
Richard, Jeanette, Annette, Stephanie, Denise; grandchildren and great-
grandchildren; sister, Linda Willis; brother, Tommy Cromartie; five
sisters-in-law, Patricia, Teresa,Yvette, Yvonne, Shirlette; nephews, Eu-
pene Butler, Tony Willis Jr. and Donnell Willis; great nephew, and a host
of other relatives and friends.
