Obituary

On Thursday, December 23, 2010 Odessa Dunson, affectionately known as Odie transitioned to her Heavenly home, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She now joins her husband, Donald Dunson; mother Irene Harris; father, Thomas Price, and sister, deborah gantt. She attended the Baltimore City Public School System and the Community College of Baltimore for Culinary Arts. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She had many talents. She could sing, dance, cook and was an avid reader. She co-owned a buisness called Cafe Metropole and Art Gallery. Later she went into the health field, becoming a companion for the elderly. Odessa leaves to cherish her memory; one devoted son, Lawrence Edward Jones, III; four sisters and two brothers, Veronica Poole, George Gantt and his wife Connie Gantt, Bernice Gantt, Iantha Gantt Wright and her husband Kenneth, Nathiel Gantt, Constance and her husband Jerome Tate; nieces and nephews, Virginia, Valerie, Lillie, Sharon, Kim, Cynthia, Alexander, Nikki, Tara, Tyler, Kenyon, Mark, Marquis and Natlie; great-nieces candice, Edwina, Marie, Victoria, Anthony, Kenny Jr., Veronica, Keisha, Alexander III, Joshua and Gerald Jr.,; and other relatives and friends, along with one granddaughter, Dawshane Houston.
