Omie Diggs, loving daughter of Annie P. Foster and George Saunders, the youngest of four siblings, departed this life on March 8, 2021.

Omie received her education through the Baltimore Public School System.

On May 8, 1954 she united in holy matrimony to the love of her life and devoted husband, James Edward Diggs (preceded her in death).

She was employed with the United States Post Office (seasonal), from there, she received her license in family daycare for children retiring after 25 years of service.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, attending Perkins Square Baptist Church. She than transferred to Shiloh C. C. Church where she was active in many ministries. She was one of the churches mothers. She was a lifetime devoted member of the Tuesday Seniors and the Ivy Day Center for Seniors.

Omie leaves a legacy of love: five children, Cecelia (deceased), Caulett, James (Grace), Cheryl (Charles deceased), Kenneth (Renee) and a host of grands, great grands and great great grandchildren and a host family and friends.
