ife suddenly at Maryland General Hospital September 25,2015.
Otis (known to many as Jay-R or Big 0) received his education from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and later obtained his GED. He was an entrepreneur and worked throughout the Baltimore and DC areas. He was also a handyman which made no job ever to hard for him to handle.
Otis married Sharel l e Hill on October 20, 1998 and to this union one son was born, Saatehu Haynes-Mesutmen. Otis loved his son and always wanted the best for him .
Otis was a part of Hope Alive Ministries with Dr. Basha Jordan and later joined Newborn Community of Faith Church in 2011. When in town , he would attend services faithfully. He also was a part of Strength to Love in Wash- ington, DC and Strength to Love II in Baltimore . Otis was a source of encouragement to many and a brother to those he came in contact with .
Otis is preceded in death by his parents, Otis Sr. and Nellie Haynes, Thomas and Raymond Haynes, brothers and Cherrie Haynes, sister. Otis is survived by: Sharelle Hill-Haynes, wife ; one son, Saatehu Haynes - Mesutmen; three step - sons, Ricardo Hill , Memorial Service Joseph H.
