Obituary

Pamela Michelle Coleman, a woman whose presence brought warmth, light, and unmistakable love into every space she entered, was born on November 14, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Freeman and Blanche Coleman. As the firstborn, Pamela naturally carried a spirit of leadership, compassion, and deep devotion to her family from an early age. On March 2, 2026, she peacefully transitioned, surrounded by her loving family.

Pamela was a graduate of Walbrook Senior High School, where she completed her studies with honors. Ambitious and determined, she stepped directly into the work- force, beginning a career that would reflect her natural gift for connecting with people. She worked as an Assistant Pharmacy Technician with Giant Pharmacy and held various administrative roles throughout her work life.

Beyond her professional life, Pamela was a woman of many passions. She had a true gift for hairstyling, caring for men, women, and children alike with both skill and love. What began as a talent became both a creative outlet and a source of income, and she poured herself into it wholeheartedly for many years. Pamela also found joy in writing, often expressing herself through poetry and reflection.

Faith and fellowship were also important to Pamela. She was an active and dedicated member of Hallelujah UCOG, where she served faithfully on the choir, the usher board, and as a participant in the Young People’s Holiness Association (YPHA) under the leadership of the late Rev. Joseph Turner, Sr. In her later years, she contin- ued her spiritual journey, fellowshipping with family at The Olivet Baptist Church. Her love for church, community, and worship remained a steady part of her life.

As a big sister, Pamela was affectionately known as the “leader of the pack.” She carried herself with a nurturing, motherly love that extended far beyond her immediate responsibilities. She was intelligent, outgoing, and deeply loving—a woman who | left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Her bond with her late grand- mother, Ms. Gladys, was especially dear to her, as she received constant encouragement, prayer, and guidance that stayed with her throughout her life.

Pamela’s legacy is one of love, strength, style, and unwavering devotion to family. | She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her mother, Blanche Coleman-Higginbotham; her father, Freeman Coleman, Sr.; her beloved children, Christin, Kahlil, and | Tae’ gon; her brothers, Freeman Coleman, Jr, and Patrick Coleman, Sr., her cherished grandchildren, Blake and Kobe, and a very special friend and long time companion- Nathaniel Lewis, Jr. affectionately called "June" or "Denk-Denk" all of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also lovingly remembered by six aunts, two uncles, and a host of. nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Though she may be gone from our sight, Pamela’s light, her laughter, her music, and her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
