Obituary

Pamela Flora Nichols, daughter of the late Nathaniel Sweets and the late Hattie May Thomas, was born on april 18, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland and departed this life on November 29,2006 after a brief illness. Pamela received her education in the Baltimore City School System. She was later employed at Proctor and Gamble, and Self Pride Inc. Pamela joined Sanctuary Church in april 2006 where she helped with ''The Lord's Table'' serving a sit-down meal to the community and ''The Shopping Cart'' giving bags of food to the community. She also attended Bible Study on Thursday at Sanctuary and would often attend noon day service at Greater Harvest. Pam was a no-nonsense type of person and believed in telling it like it was. Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and auntto her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. She always loved to cook and clean and never would you see her without a bag or some bags. She will truly be missed by those who knew her. She leaves to mourn; one daughter, Bridgette; three sons, Melton, Shareef and Dawud; three brothers; Nathaniel Sweets, David Sweets and Vincent Sweets who preceded her in death; three sisters, Paulette Sweets, Robin McCants and Renia Wilford; nine grandchildren, Brittany Sweets, Hope Sweets preceded her in death, Shareef Nichols, Tynessha Nichols, Tyrek Nichols, Khalil Nichols, Ka'Shae Nichols, Dawud Nichols, and Shamira Nichols; a life long friend, Charles Jones; two aunts, Henretta Archer and Betty Chambers; one sister-in-law, Priscilla Sweets; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
