Obituary

Pamela Ann McKoy-Faison, born to Enos and Lora McKoy on February 7, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York at St. Mary's Hospital. Pamela slipped away to her new home on January 14,2015, where she will be greeted by her grandparents, Mildred Stewart and Mary and Earl Mclnnis. Her childhood years were spent with lifelong friends in East New York, Brooklyn. She received her education in the Brooklyn Public Schools. Pamela graduated from Washington Irving High School of Medicine andfurthered her education at Sullivian Community College of New York. She went on to work in the health care field at the tender age of 17 for Ridgewood Bushwick Home Care, where she stayedfor 8 years. In July of 1987 she gave birth to her only child Priscilla Ashley Dominque McKoy. Pamela loved taking care of people and left a huge impact on everyone she encountered. She was such a giver in anyway she could help, too include washing dishes after a get together or party at someone else's house. In the summer of 1996, Pamela and her daughter moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she resided for the rest of her years. Pamela was a hard worker and had various jobs but the ones that meant the most to her was the 5 years she spent with Baltimore City Schools as a Para to special- needs children at the Claremont School. There she met and later married her husband Armando Jesse Faison on July 28, 2001. Pamela went on to work for Maryland Transit Authority, where she excelled through the Metro System-driving the Bus for over 13 years then moving over to Booth Clerk and finally Loco Motor(train) Driver. Pamela loved her Metro Family like her own. She enjoyed traveling and loved sand between her toes. Those who knew her enjoyed her caring and positive spirit. Whenever you needed someone to talk to, she was always there no matter who you were. Her smile would light up any room she walked in and her New York accent, which everyone loved, will surely be missed. Pamela leaves to mourn: her loving husband, Armando Faison; talented gifted daughter, Priscilla McKoy-Beasley; son-in-law, Craig Beasley; grandson, Jaylen Beasley; her parents, Enos and Lora McKoy; her mother-in-law, Blanche Faison; brother, Stanley McKoy; sisters, Desiree, Nicole, Traci and Felicia McKoy; five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, two aunts, nephews, David, Donate, Brandon, Corey, Marcus, Amiri, Amir, and Maurice; a great niece, Cha 'Niyah; numerous beloved relatives, "Her Circle of Sisters" and abundance of co-workers and friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and warm embrace at this most shocking time of our lives in losing someone so precious to US all. Viewing Joseph H.
