Obituary

Pamela Ann Moore-White, daughter of the late Idella Stevenson and Donald L. Moore, was born on September 3, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was called home on September 15, 2012 after a twenty year battle with cancer. Pamela was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Agnes and Hezekiah Pearmon after her mother Idella passed when she was eleven years old. Growing up in Morris Hill with her aunt, she attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She graduated from Andover High School, then went on to start her thirty plus year career in insurance. At the end of her career she was a top subrogation rep. at Nationwide Insurance and was a member of their covet Million Dollar Club. Libby, as her family affectionately called her, was always one to take life by the reigns and be adventurous. She allowed her career to take her to Virginia and Georgia during her younger years. At the age of thirty-four Libby and her childhood sweetheart, Willie Evans welcomed a baby girl, her only child, Morgan Breanna Moore Evans. Libby prayed to have her miracle baby and was a mother to be admired. She was proud of her Poo-Poo and boasted with pride over the years about her. In 2002, Libby married John Allen White, Sr. They made their home together in Pikesville, Maryland. Being raised in a large family; well known for incredible cooking skills, Libby joined the ranks with dishes, such as, chicken and rice, fried chicken, mac and cheese, chicken and dumplings and sweet corn. She loved to cook large meals and have family over for Sunday dinners and cookouts. she was even known to help sick family members with their cooking and household chores. Always one to speak her mind, Libby was a favorite of the younger members of her family. sSe was always outspoken, loud, funny and wise. Her love for the kids in her family and her desire to see them do well kept her spilling advice whether solicited or not. During her last years, she kept positive while battling for her life. She would hand dance, sing, sew, cook and work even when she was tired. She never let it get best of her. Her granddaughters, Farrellia Stinky and Johnyce NyNy were all the inspiration she needed some days to get her going. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, John Allen White, Sr.; daughter, Morgan Breanna Moore Evans; stepsons, John Jr. and Donald White; stepmother, Barbara Moore; devoted sister and caregiver, Coulette Smith; sisters, Salena, Natsha and Jennie; brothers, Rodney, Lionel Denise, Avery, Gary, Sylvester, Kevin, Zandy, Derrick and Howard; favorite uncle, Claymon Stevenson Suzie; aunts, Phyllis Scurry Thomas, Barbara A. Moore Leslie, Florence Boone Dornel and Dorothy Moore; three special nieces, Shawnt'a Dorsey, Jonelle Kennedy and Chantel Kornegay; granddaughters, farrellia Adlease-Kennendy Stewart and Johnnyce Eleatha-Kennedy-Lendsey; special great-niece, Tynesha Dorsey; goddaughter, Toni Pack; best friends, Joanne, Sharon, Karen and Angie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
