IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul R.
Dendy
November 2, 1953 – July 23, 2017
Paul Dendy
was born and raised in the heart of the city. A
well recognized member of the Belmont community
spending most of his life in and around the area.
Paul was employed as a Mechanic for University of Maryland
Medical Systems, but his passion was motorcycles. He
enjoyed building and designing custom motorcycles and
"making a mark in motorcycles and fashion."
At an early age he learned the art of tailoring and garment
making. In 2004, he developed a fashion line called
CH EROKEE that he said was inspired by God and the
heritage of an ancestor.
Paul was an avid reader, animal and nature lover, and history
enthusiast. He truly enjoyed the history and traditions of
Native American life and culture.
Born to Florence Dendy Franks and Glendon Dendy, Paul is
survived by his sisters Jean Harcum and Dorrie Dendy.
Nieces and nephews Regina and Renee Deanes, Khadriah
Ward, Toby Walker, Quran Carlos-Ali, Rabiah Dendy, William
Dendy, Shadeed & Shadiayah Ali and a host of great
nieces/nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his
Belmont family.
