Paul Sedgwick, the son of the late William and Josephine Sedgwick, was born on January 17, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Sunday, May 20, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Paul was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. Shortly after high school, he became employed as a lineman for the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, where he later suffered a work related injury. In the earlyl 1980's, he decided to venture out to California where he continued to pursue his love for the piano. While enjoying the many things that California had to offer, he was able to see many of his favorite teams, such as the Clippers and the Lakers. On May 20, 2007, the Lord called Paul from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his father, William Sr. and brothers, Larry and William Jr. Paul leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Josephine; daughter, Lekeita; brothers, Thomas Gaither Mary and Coston Sedgwick; three sister Joann, Jean and Ellen; two grandchildren, Ajee' Lomax and Bryant Booze; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He also leaves soecuak friends, Michael Henson, Gerald Wallace, Jackie Parker, Carlton Bouyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Ananda who assiste him in California during his lengthy illness.
