.. Paula Lorraine Nickens, the daughter of Paul
Nelson and the late Dorothy Nelson was born on
December 9, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. On

October 17, 2018, she entered into eternal rest, after a
lengthy illness.

Peaches, as she was known by all that knew her, attended
Baltimore City Public Schools. Later, she studied nursing
and was employed by Genesis Healthcare for twenty-eight
years prior to her untimely death.

On July 18, 1985, Peaches married the love her life,
Lebraun Kevin Nickens, Sr., and from that union three
children were born, Lebraun Jr., Tayengca and Touraine.
Peaches loved her family and spent many hours
nourishing, loving, and providing moral support to them.
She also accepted Christ at an early age. She will be truly
missed.

Peaches was preceded in death by her husband and
mother.

Peaches is survived by: her father, Paul Nelson, three
children, Lebraun Nickens, Jr., (MoMo), Tayengca
Nickens (Tia) and Touraine Nickens, four grand-children,
Javon Allen, Jaylen Allen, Eli Robinson and Lamya
Nickens, two brothers, Robert Nelson and R.G. McPhail,
one sister Ruth Frazier, Mother-in-law Beulah Mae
Nickens, two brothers in law, Cyrus Nickens, Jr., and
William Frazier, four sisters-in-law, Debbie Nelson, Terry
Nickens, Ingar Nickens and Shi'Nee McPhail, A Special
Companion and Partner Kenneth Merritt, who she loved
so and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and many dear
family & friends.
