Paulette Marie Pollard, daughter of the late Julia and James Paul Hammond was born October 25, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. Her journey in this world ended Wednesday morning September 21, 2011, after a lengthy illnes. Paulette received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and attended Baltimore City Community College. She worked for the Social Security Administration, Citibank for 20 years, and John Hopkins University from december 1998 until her early retirement to iloness in 2009. Paulette loved people. She helped them in any way she could and was always there when you needed her. She loved to travel on cruises and take her. She loved to travel on cruises and take her grandchildren on vacation. She leaves to cherish her memories; a loving daughter, Carol Coates; 4 granchilren, Janelle, Darrin, Kelly and Jakelle; 2 geat-grandchildren, Janrrelle and Terry; sister, Leslie Hammond; step-children, Eugene, Bruce, Michael, Edward and Robert; niece, Tia; nephew, Lewis; aunt, Rosalie Purnell; many other relatives and friends including special daughters, Cheryl, Janice and Lajuan; devoted friend, Patsy Hinton; preceded in deatn by special son, Darrin Day.
