Paulette Queen was born in Richmond, Virginia as Paulette Young to Luther Young and Hanna Mcknight on January 29, 1943. She departed this life on August 27, 2014. Paulette lived most of her life in Baltimore. She was good natured, outgoing and people tended to gravitate towards her. She was very nurturing and cared for pets, plants, flowers and birds. For many years she worked for Verizonfrom which she since re- tired back in 1998. She worked at the phone company thirty years as an assignment clerk. Through Tree-Mendous Maryland (Maryland Department of Natural Resources) and the Reservoir Hill Mutual Homes, inc. a contribution has been made toward the Gift of Trees in Celebration of Paulette P. Queen. Paulette also liked to dance, cook, and decorate. When it came to cooking she really knew how to cook, she was a natural. She was al- ways willing to help others and will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones. Paulette is survived by: her son, Andre Alexander; her sisters, Gloria Baker, Barbara Chase Dger and Nadine McMillan; her brothers, Haywood McMillan, Calvin McMillan, Kevin McMillan and Melvin Generette; cousin, Delores McGill; nieces, Tonya Woodlea, Brigette Baker and Darlene Thornton; nephew, Taj Mattox; a host of other nieces and nephews, and longtime friend, John Hollaway.
