Obituary

Paulette Rae Randall, daughter of the late Orville and Margaret Randall was born on September 16, 1945. She was called home on April 23, 2015 after a very lengthy illness. Paulette attended Carver Vocational High School with a major in Cosmetology. Lett as she was affectionately known was excellent at doing hair. She could curl and style hair with the best of them; and was a pro at braiding hair as well. Aunt Paul was employed by D & G Transportation as a school bus attendant. She did security for Crown Security Co. She also had a few warehouse jobs and was a foster care mother to Milton and Shawn. Lett was a very good cook, and her baking skills were just as good. She made the best Christmas cookies on the planet. She ran a tight kitchen, dinner at 5 and you knew not to be late; and you had to eat all your food. Her kitchen had to be cleaned, once that was done, kitchen closed until the next day. Paulette was very outgoing, loved to hang out with her home girls, Barbara Green, Lona, Doris James and a very special cousin, McNeal the Wheel. Lett loved music, she was an excellent dancer, a true fashionista and she loved shoes. Later in life Paulette met other friends, Dorothy, Renee and Tondelaya. Aunt Paul had 4 goddaughters, Tonde, Frances, Courtnie and Cassandra. She has one adopted daughter Nabreyia, her love for you was endless. Lett loved her some Ms. Dot, Michelle AKA Puddin, Tarshella and Teontae all dear to her heart. Paulette had 6 siblings all preceded her in death, Orville Clinton Randall Jr. (Uncle Shorty), Marjorie Marcella-Jones (The Big M), Phyllis A. Randall (Aunt Fei), Peggy Ann Watkins Miles (Aunt Pegs), Margaret Elaine Elizabeth Randall (Missy), and John Hammond Randall (Biggie), and her first born, Danaed Anthony Williams. Lett leaves to cherish her memories: son, Johnny Troy Hawkins; she raised one daughter Rosalind McGill; 6 grandchildren, Little Donald, Dina, Kewong, Kia, China and Kim; 8 great grands, Nash, Noah, Little China, Bre-Bre-Capone, Mill-Mill, Jordon, last but not least baby Shebreyia; 3 nieces, Terri, Marcia and Dawn; 6 nephews, Daryl, Kevin, her favorite nephew, Dew-Pop, Wayne, Eric, Damon; 1 great nephew, Rodney and her god father Mervin Randall and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
