Pauline J. Veney, daughter of the late Addie Bell Phillips and Robert Howard Veney, was born on May 16, 1931 in Richmond, Virginia. She was sister to william, Martha Ella and Ernest Veney all preceded her in death. Pauline departed this life suddenly on May 17, 2010. As a yuong girl Pauline received her education at Worster High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She went to work at the early age of fourteen while attending school. Upon he completion of high school she met and married Ralph Beverly and from this union Sandra and Lauren were born. After feeling stress of life and family, she decided to move to New York to find better employment opportunities to support her family. Pauline worked at the Consumer's Union for over twenty years. During this time she was separated from Ralph and later married William Hardy. From this union Robert G. Hardy was born. After some hardship, she and William were separated. sometime after the separation, years later, she was intro duced to Thomas Dorsey by a dear friend. Pauline and Thomas had a great life together, filled with a love for the church, music, bowling and travel. She leaves to mourn; her husband, Thomas Dorsey; her children, dandra, Lauren Lauren's husband Clarence and Robert; her stepchildren, Gloria her husban Kenneth; Danny, Roger and Gilbert, Pauline's niece and nephews, Ivy, John and Russell her sister Ella's children; her thirteen grandchildren, Antwan, Lennel, Pauline, Shawnell, Otis, Kaisha, Gerard, Tanell, Danny Jr., Sonia, Kashanna, Vaughn and Jordan; her thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. With her humor and wit she brought lots of smiles and laughter. She made many friend and was loved by all.
