Obituary

Pearl Victoria allen Dublin Reeves, the only child of the late George Allen and Annie Allen passed on Sunday, October 30, 2011 a future Care Cherrywood. Pearl was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. Pearl worked many years for Bishop Dails as a Demestic Engineer. Pearl was married to Rev. Lloyd Reeves who pre-deceased her on April 17, 2002 and from this union, no children. At an early age Pearl accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and jioned the Shiloh Christian Community Church under the leadership of the late Rev. George W. Baynor. She attended church regularly until her health began to fail. She was a member of the Women's Christian Service Council of the Community Churches. Everywhere Pearl went she did not meet a stranger, she was well known by the membership in the church and in the community. Everyone called her cousin Pearl. Pearl was a life member of the Spirit of Chesapeake Elks and served as gate keeper, past grand officer and past state president. She traveled a lot with the Elks. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, and also help from the West Baltimore Reunions. Pearl was a member of the State County and Municipal Employeed AFL -CIO, Chapter 1 AFSCME. Pearl was very happy when she was surrounded by family and friends. Pearl leaves to cherish hr memory; two adopted sons, Charlie Winston and Edward Stevenson; one niece, Betty Johnson and a host of cousins, nephews and friends.
