Obituary

I, Pearline Boyd Wilson, was born on December 2, 1940, in South Hill, Virginia, the beloved child of the late Margaret and Richard Hendrick. From the beginning of my life, I was surrounded by love, guidance, and strong values that helped shape the person I became.

At the age of seven, my family moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where I was raised and educated in the Baltimore City Public School system. I graduated from Dunbar High School and continued my education at the Community College of Baltimore, where I earned my Associate of Arts degree. I later received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the College of Notre Dame. I also received my certification as a Substitute Teacher.

At an early age, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at United Baptist Church. My faith remained a guiding force a guiding force my life. I later became a long-time and devoted member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where I served faithfully as a Trustee and as a Christian Education Instructor. In later years, I joined Ray of Hope Baptist Church, where I continued my service to the Lord and the church community. There, I served as a Trustee and worked with the Finance Committee, Grief Committee, and the Tutoring Ministry, always striving to uplift and support others through faith and service.

I built a long and meaningful career with Baltimore Gas & Electric, where I faithfully worked for 27 years in customer relations. | took great pride in serving others and helping customers with patience, professionalism, and compassion.

I had a deep love for children and believed strongly in helping young people grow, learn, and succeed. I was a proud member of the Girl Scouts of America and valued the opportunity to encourage, mentor, and support young girls as they developed confidence, leadership, and character.

One of my greatest passions was reading. I truly loved books and believed deeply in the power of literacy. I spent many hours tutoring both children and adults, encouraging them to read, learn, and grow. It was my heartfelt desire that everyone discovered the joy and opportunity that comes from being able to read.

I enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures. | loved traveling, reading poetry, watching classic movies, and watching a good football game on Sundays (Go Ravens). One of my absolute favorite things was shopping and I proudly earned the title of the "QVC Queen." Those who knew me best know just how much joy I found in it.

I loved spending time with my family. The holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, were some of my favorite times of the year. Being surrounded by family, laughter, good food, and love brought me great happiness and created memories that I cherished deeply.

I was married to Donald Wilson, who preceded me in death. Together we shared years of life, memories, and love.

I leave to cherish my memory, my beloved son, Michael. Michael, I want you to always remember how much | love you. Carry me in your heart a , just as I have carried you in mine since the day you were born. I for you and over you throughout your life, and through everything we have been through together, my love for you has never wavered. | am proud of you and the man you have me. Melvin Jr. and Stanley, thank you for conducting my service. Michael, Shirley, Terry and Lisa, thank you for your devoted time, love, and care during my illness. Your kindness and support meant more to me than words can express. I cherished the time spent with family, friends, and everyone in my life | was blessed to know, you each hold a special place in my heart and always will.

I know you are going to miss me, but I am right where I desired to be. Always remember my love, my laughter, and my faith. If you know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we will see each other again. I don't know if there is a QVC Store in Heaven but if it is that's where you will find me. I love you all!
