Pernell Delano Solomon was born on June 3, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 29, 2007 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late Zaddock Solomon Sr. and Mae Willis Bess Solomon. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools and later attended First Coast Technical Institute School of Culinary Arts where he graduated with honors. Pernell was also a Communication Computer Control Systems Specialist. He was employed at Staton Preparatory High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He later became self employed in culinary arts. He served in the United States Air Force where he received several honors. Pernell accepted christ at an early age. He joined Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and was baptized under the devine leadership of the late Dr. Samuel B. Redd. He began in his Christian journey attending sunday School and taking a part in all youth organizations. Pernell was a faithful member of Mt. Ararat Baptist until he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After his tour of duty he made his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He became a member of Potter's House of Christian Fellowship under the devine leadership of Bishop Vaughn McLaughin Pernell and was a faithful member. He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Justin S. Solomon; a daughter Kristin S. Solomon; mother, Mae W. Bess Solomon; sisters, Lavonia S. Powell Blackwell of Memphis, Tenn., and Altermese S. Johnson of Baltimore, MD.; brothers, Rev. Napolean W. Solomon of Converse, TX., Zaddock N. Solomon II of Jacksonville, FL., and Cureton A. Solomon Sr. of Severn, MD.; three sisters-in-law, eight aunts, two uncles, nephews, nieces, close relatives and friends. His father and a brother preceded him death.
