Philip Victor White, sonof the late Paulette Victoria White, wasbornonMay 22, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. Philip departed thishfeon June 10, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools and in Juneof2009, he received an AssociateofArts DegreeinAddiction Counseling, at Baltimore City Community College.
Philip was affectionately known as "Vic" by his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for the Baltimore Ravens. Vic was a beacon who provided hope, wordsofencouragement and inspiration to all he encountered, espe- cially those in recovery.
Vic worked at Tuerk House as a program assistant for an internship from Sept. 2009 - Jan. 2010. Due to his strong work ethic and the passion he had for helping others, he was quickly promoted to an addiction counselor where he worked until April 2019. Vic began working at BayMark Health Services from 2019, until the day God called him home.
On June 18, 2017, he married the loveofhis life, Kim T Braxton, who he affectionately called 'lanky". Through this union, he gained a mother-in-law, Holmszella Braxton (mom), two sons, Aaron and Devron Buchanan and a great niece whom he treated like his daughter, Jamiera Anderson.
Vic was preceded in death by his mother, Paulette and son, Lil Vic. He leaves to mourn his loving wifeKim;mother-in-law Holmszella; one sister-in-law, Melva; one brother-in-law, Melvin (Carolyn); one aunt, Dora (Les); one great aunt, Lucille; twostep sons, Aaron and Devron; three nieces, Stacey, Malinda (Brawley) and Natalie; two nephews, Kenneth and Bryant; threecousins, Keith, Marvin (Christal) and Sean (Renee); Sixchildhood friends who were like brothers, Tony (Hope),Jimmy,Kevin, Kenny, Larry and Sambo; and a great niece who was dear to his heart, Jamiera as well as a host clients, co-workers,family and friends.
