Departed this life on Thrusday, February 28,2019, after a lenghty illness.
Phillip affectionately known as Phill, Freddy, Slim, Traveling Man, Brother, Till, Dad, Grand Dad, Unr
Phil-Phil, Philliam, and Brother In-Law was born on june 30, 1959, he was the six child of the late
Richard and Floretta Tillman.
Phill attended Baltimore City Public School. He obtained his High School Diploma
from Woodstock Job Corp Center, it was then that Phill discovered his highest protential and stepped
into manhood. During Phill residency at VVjCC, he developed well respect relationships with the staff
and his peers. Phill held many job positions while attending VVjCC, such as Floor Captain, Dorm
Captain, Residential Coordinator. Upon Phill graduation he excelled with honors and obtained
professional employment within Baltimore City and local Counties. Phill held positions at:
Baltimore Manpower Center as Center Counselor, Truckers Inn as Truck Washer, Housing
Authority of Monument East as Resident Council Vice-President and RAB Delegate, Elite
Seasoning Corperation, and Self-Employment
Phill was well known and loved for his intelligence, witty personality, his charm, his
beautiful Smile, his corny jokes, his famous dance move called the Baby Girl, his willingness to help
others, his love for learning, his fishing skills, and his uplifting conversations. Phill would kick your
butt in Chess, Spades, 5000, Pinochle and Boggle. Phill loved and adored his Family and Friends.
Phill was proceeded in death by his Father-Richard L. Tillman Sr., his Mother-Floretta
Tillman (Harris), his Grandparents-John W. Tillman, Arnita Tillman (Wright), William T. Tillman
Sr., Marian Harris (Comogean), his Two brothers-Richard L. Tillman jr., Vincent W. Tillman Sr.,
One sister-Maxine Raleigh, Two niece-Robbinett Raleigh and Raymonette Saunders (Fergurson),
Two nephews-Alvin McSwanJr., and William Tillman jr., One aunt-Aletha Williams (Harris) and
Seven uncles-Robert Tillman (Billy), Lewis Tillman, William T. Harris jr., Danial Harris, David
Harris, Morris Harris and Ralph Harris.
