Portia Laverne Pierce was born an January
26, 1950, to Charlie d' Willie Mae Pierce, Portia was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Baltimore MD. Portia departed this life an May 20, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Portia was affectionately known as a find,
gentle, caring, and respectful lady. She was
outgoing and enjoyed bowling, outdoor activities such as barbecuing with family and friends, and she played softball Portia enjoyed going to the casino and she laved to play cards. Portia loved to travel with friends and family. As a child, Portia was a girl scout.
Portia was employed by Social Security
Administration far 40 plus years and retired from the Office of Labor and Employee Relations, as a Labor Relations Specialist. Prior to that she worked in the Office of Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity, as an Equal Employment Specialist.
Portia completed Management Training Programs and traveled throughout the country. Portia volunteered with the job for special events at Forest Park Golf Club.
