Obituary

Reflections of Life Quentin Orlando Bryant was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 5, 1963. He was the third of four children from the union of Dorothy A. Bryant (nee Mosley) and Owen E. Bryant. Quentin received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools, where in 1978 he graduated class valedictorian from Greenspring Junior High, and later in 1981 from Carver Vocational-Technical High School. At an early age Quentin enjoyed playing "sandlot" baseball and other sports with his cousins and the neighborhood children. He was a passionate Orioles' fan and loved roller skating with his siblings. When the occasion called, he would find a way to be the most impeccably dressed regardless of financial circumstances. No life circumstance was heavy enough excuse for Quentin not to be where positive vibes and true camaraderie could be found. Upon graduation, Quentin served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a mortgage lender for several banks in the Baltimore area. His most recent employment was in the transportation services department of Johns Hopkins University. He leaves to cherish his loving memory four children, Keira Bryant-Preston, Quentin "Brubby" Bryant, Jr., Kanea Bryant-Sanon, and Brandon Bryant; loving mother and father, Dorothy and Owen E. Bryant, Jr., Bryant; one brother, Lorenzo Bryant; two sisters, Gwendolyn Bryant and Valerie Bryant; five grandchildren; five aunts and two uncles; one niece and three nephews; and a host of relatives and devoted friends.
