Rachel Whitfield beloved daughter of Johnny Whitfield and the
late Ruth Ann, was born May 3, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland. She
departed her life unexpectedly on November 9, 2016.

Rachel received her education from the Baltimore City Public School
System. She also attended BCCC majoring in Drug Counseling. Rachel
accepted Jehovah at an early age. She worked for Baltimore City Public
School System for multiple years. Rachel left there to help her daughter
Sandtaz pursue her I dream of owning and operating a chain of boutiques.

Rachel enjoyed her life to the fullest. Her first love was her family and
spending time with them especially her grandchildren. Rachel also loved
helping others. She had a passion for dressing up, Facebook, Pepsi, and
her 'Bud Ice'. She loved a good party and you couldn't keep her off the
dance floor.

Rachel loved helping others even if it meant giving you her last. Rachel
will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rachel was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth, Lucinda, Linda & Dorothy.

Rachel leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving father,
Johnny Whitfield; two sons, Andre Blanding and Roger Taylor Jr.; three
daughters, Sandtaz Taylor, Rayarna Barber and Brittany Parker; her four
amazing grandsons, Melakahi Taylor, Dash Dixon, Malik Taylor and soon
to be here Blake Parker; her siblings, Carolyn Nathan, Tyrone Nathan,
John Nathan, Joseph Whitfield, Philip Williams, Diane Whitfield and
Towanda Clark; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,
cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She also leaves to mourn her memory,
her road dogs Betty and Joanna and her special man James Branch for all
