Obituary

Ralph Angelo Owens, son of the late Cinda C. Owens and Rev. Lee A. Owens, was born on July 28, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland and was called to rest on April 23, 2026.

Ralph attended Baltimore City Public Schools and furthered his education at Dunbar High School. Ralph was a loving son and father to his only daughter, brother, uncle, and friend. He was truly the life of the party to know him was to love him. Ralph was a joyful and positive person whose presence could light up any room. He had a way of bringing smiles, laughter, and comfort to those around him. His warm spirit and loving personality left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Ralph loved spending time with the people he cared about most and was well known for his favorite saying, “Who you wit!“ Ralph loved to ride his motor scooter.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Tierra Butler (Owens); brother, Cubby Owens (Rosalyn); sister Thelma Ann (Guy Greenfield);, step mother Louise Owens, step-sisters, Rita Ross and Denise Ross; Arlene “Kim” Henson; step brother Arthur "Bo" Ross, nieces Shwanquana, Rosalyn, Cinda, Shawton, Shawnnay, Shawmenika, and Ryhkenda Owens; nephews, Cubby Owens Jr., Roland (Alyssa) , Sharnd Owens, and CJ, Lorenzo (Jennifer) and Eric (Brandy) James; grandchildren, Arlique Butler and Kentrell Butler Jr; along with a host of other loving family members and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his mother, Cinda C. Owens; father, Rev. Lee A. Owens; brother, Minister Lee Alton Owens Jr; nephew, James Owens; favorite niece which he named Cokeya A. Owens, niece Angel Owens; and two grandchildren Miracle Butler, Arnell Alexander Jr.
