RANDOLPH WILLIAMS, affectionately known to his familyas Randy, Scottie, Dad and Grandpops, was born on November4, 1943 in Halifax, NC to the late Hester Williams. He was thesecond of seven children and the eldest son. Randolph was
preceded in death by his son, Dehl Williams; sisters, BessieZant, Florence Morris, Barbara Williams, Geneva Williams; andbrother, Matthew Williams.
Randolph had a love for life! He enjoyed long road trips acrossthe country to sightsee and visit family and friends. During hisearly years in California, Randolph would take his family to
Disneyland annually and to the Grand Canyon in his belovedbig yellow van. In 2003 Randolph married Jacqueline Bowens.While in Baltimore he attended many events with his family and
took great pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Randolph was the best Grandpops ever and created lifelongmemories and experiences for his grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
Randolph was always the life of the party and loved todance, sing and have a good time. He was the happiest whensurrounded by family and loved ones, especially during social
gatherings. If you played music, he was not shy about showingyou his dance moves! He loved to make people smile and laugh.He also enjoyed telling a good story because he was never inshort supply!
Randolph received his education in the Baltimore City PublicSchool System and was a graduate of The Baltimore CityCollege Class of 1963. Randolph was recruited by the United
States Air Force where he served for 22 years. While in theAir Force Randolph received various awards and acclamations,most notably mastering martial arts as a black belt.Randolph
had a great love for airplanes and was a U.S. Air Force Veteranwho retired as an Honorable Master Sergeant. After traveling
the world he took great pride in his craft and continued as anair traffic controller for many years.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Randolph wasequally as passionate for life. He is remembered for his laughter,great stories and love that he had for his family and friends.
Randolph is survived by: his wife, Jacqueline "Peaches" BowensWilliams; sons, Darryl Williams, IC. Romain, Esquire and Monte
Bowens (Ann); daughters, Dr. Ramona Coates (Derek), ChantalWesley (Byron), Dr. Jenniter McKenna, La'Toya Barbour andDr. Victoria R. Williams; sisters, Marjorie Williams and PhyllisJohnson; and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren,
nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and everyone who knew himas family.
