RayBethune son ofMs.Jessie Bullard and the late Willie Bethunewasborn July12,1960 in Baltimore City. He departed his life July 29,2020after a long illness.



Ray attended Baltimore City Public Schools. He attended Pimlico. HighSchool. He joined a wrestling class and excelled in it; winning trophies from time to time.



Ray was a good swimmer, he showedusthat out Druid Hill Park. Helearned quickly and wasn't afraid togofor it. He could swim in 6 feetas a kid, we were impressed. He loved Chess and ping pong too.



Seemed like he coulddoit all. He was willing totryto learn anything to do with sports.Ray was a very bigfanof Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee; they were his favorites.



Ray was a friendtoeveryone he'd met, he was caring and helpful.Raywas a good person and will be sincerely missed by some o f his closest friends, Glenn, Frank, Larry and James.



Ray did roofing work for several years. He worked at sometempagencies until he couldn't do it anymore.He had two sons, Ray BethuneIIand Davon Barbour of BaltimoreCity.



He leaves to mourn: his mother, Ms. Jessie Bullard; son, RayBethuneII; grandson, Ray Bethune III; two sisters, Ms. Carolyn WilliamsandMs. Delores Beck of Verona, Pittsburgh; his brother, MichaelBriggsand sister-in-law, Jackie Briggs·, nieces Keisha, Tiny, Mickel, Nateria, Shinay, Octavia, and Keturah; nephews, Man Man and Cortlin and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
